Tracy Petty judging Edie
as a kitten at the Star & Stripes Show held
in Humble, TX Sept. 10,
2005. Like many of my cats, Edie was a
slow developer, so she was
only taken to one show as a 7mth old
kitten.
She was called back to
Tracy Petty's Final where she placed 4th Best LH
Kitten, and to Kathy
Black's Final where she placed 7th Best LH
Kitten.
Edie's first adult show
was the Eyes of Texas Cat Show in Austin, TX on
Nov. 5-6, 2005. She
not only won all six of her Winner's Ribbons,
but
was called back to two
finals. Carla Bizzell gave her 10th Best
LH Cat
and Sharon McKeehen-Bounds
gave her 7th Best All Breed Cat.
Edie at the Houston Cat
Club show Jan 7-8, 2006. Edie is a natural
show kitty,
and always plays
with the judges as well as spectators! Edie made
3rd Best LH CH
in Rachel Anger's Final at
this show!
The Coastwind Cat Club
held in Beaumont, TX Feb. 25-26th, 2006 was
another
great show for Edie- Kitty
Angell gave Edie 2nd Best LH CH and 3rd Best AB
CH!
Update:
Edie has had to take a
little Summer Break from showing in order to let
her Smoke
coat grow back out, but
she was awarded Best of Breed in the Smoke
Division for
Region 3's 2005-2006 Show
season! This is our first Breed Win for Rare
Earth!
After a short break, Edie
reemerged even more beautiful than ever!

Edie
made 3rd Best LH CH in
Placchi's AB final, and made Best AB CH, Best
LH CH, and 7th Best Cat in
Zenda's AB final!

made 3rd Best LH CH and became a New Grand!

Edie, but we
were very happy none the
less!

Update:
Edie finished out the
2006-2007 show season at #19th Best Cat in the GSR!
I will dearly miss showing
her, but do plan to take her out again as a
Premier
after she finishes a short
breeding career.
