Rare Earth

 is a CFA Registered Cattery specializing in Smoke Persians in both Dilute and Dominant colors.

 .  We also have a separate small Tabby Program. We  work with established  Tabby lines from Joleigh, Red Sky; and the Smoke/Solid lines of Fox Hara and

 Sunlit. We actively show in CFA; and Quality, Health and Temperament are our number one objectives. I strive to meet the CFA Show Quality Standards, and because we are a small establishment, there is usually a waiting list for my kittens. All  of our Breeding adults have been Feline Leukemia tested Negative, and are raised as part of my family. They are not shaved down and do not live in cages. We are a closed cattery and do not offer stud service. I  am a serious Hobby Breeder who primarily breeds Persians for Show- however, we do occasionally have Pet Quality Kittens or Retired Breeders available to approved Pet  Homes.

Rare Earth is located & Shows in Gulf Shore Region 3 of Texas.

My name is Tracy, and I began breeding Persians in 1989.

Inspired by my unique relationship with my neutered Silver Mackerel Tabby  

 "Little Fella",  I changed my breeding program in 2000 from Silvers to Tabbies

and  also started showing in CFA.  Now in 2009, we are changing again and  are in the

process of  discontinuing our Tabby Program so I may focus my energies on

 Smokes/Shadeds and Solids. I especially love red factor cats and dilute Smokes.

 and all of the "Non Professional" pictures are my own- I have done the best I can

        All of the pictures on this website are copyrighted by the original photographers,

There are no CPC's,  Long or Short Haired Exotics in any of our lines. Rare Earth breeds

 Smokes, Solids and Tabby Persians exclusively. I keep my Tabby Program

completely separate from my Smoke Program, and I do not breed my

Tabbies with my Smokes.
